On Sunday 3/14 Change Your Clocks; Change Your Smoke Alarm Battery: More Info here -->

The City of Napa Fire Department would like to remind you that when you change your clocks on Sunday March 14th, that you also change the batteries in your smoke and carbon monoxide alarms. Working smoke alarms are the key to a successful fire evacuation plan. The early notification that an alarm provides is crucial because fire can grow three (3) times its size every 60 seconds. The largest percentage of fire deaths in the United States occur in homes without working smoke alarms. The City of Napa Fire Department has a smoke alarm program that assist low income residents with the placement of a smoke alarm in a home or apartment without one. If you know of a family without a working smoke alarm please call the City of Napa Fire Prevention Division @ 707-257-9363.
