Burglaries are crimes of opportunity; however, residents can minimize their chances of being a victim by taking a few simple steps:

Vehicle Security - Lock your vehicle; close all windows; remove all valuables; purchase a security alarm, write down serial numbers of any electronics you purchase, this may assist Police.

What should you do?
If you see a crime being committed, report it immediately and accurately.

If you are a victim of a crime, report it as soon as possible. Even a five minute delay in reporting can significantly reduce the chance of catching the criminal
