Prepare Ahead of the Storm

Weather forecasters predict a heavy winter storm with high winds and heavy rains will move into the Suisun City area late Wednesday and last most of the day Thursday.

We've updated our local information online at http://bit.ly/SuisunStorm and http://www.suisun.com/winter-weather-information/ The site includes links to the latest National Weather Service alerts, PG&E outage maps, traffic conditions, Solano County OES, and much more.

Residents should secure or bring inside anything that won't fare well in high winds, including holiday decorations, and clear gutters and drains on your property before the storm hits. Adjust your commute plans for Thursday morning to account for heavy storm conditions.

With rains and runoff expected to coincide with high tides, local street flooding is anticipated. Self-serve sandbag information is available at http://bit.ly/SuisunStorm

The Police Department Dispatch Center helps coordinate Public Works response during storm events 24/7. For non-emergencies, call 707-421-7373. For emergencies, call 911.
