Ongoing road & utility work along Silverado Trail in and around St. Helena could impact your commute.

-PG&E is currently replacing poles along Silverado Trail from Trancas to Conn Creek Road. Minimal delays are expected, work hours are 9am to 3pm Monday through Saturday -- through July 31.

-PG&E will also be performing maintenance to critical infrastructure on Pope Street in St. Helena. The maintenance work will require the closing of the Pope Street Bridge. Work Hours are 7pm to 3am Monday through Saturday -- through May 20. PG&E will have signs and flaggers on both ends of the of the bridge warning drivers, along with light towers lighting the area during this time. Drivers going from Highway 29 (St. Helena Highway) to Silverado Trail, and vice versa, can take alternate roads such as Deer Park Road or Zinfandel Lane. PG&E will conduct the work during evening and overnight hours to reduce impacts on the community. 

-Napa County’s contractor Argonaut Construction will be placing an asphalt overlay on the Silverado Trail from Zinfandel Lane to the city limits of St. Helena (approximately ¼ mile south of Pope Street) starting May 22 continuing through mid-June, with a one-week break from Memorial Day to June 6. Work hours are 6 am to 3 pm, Monday through Friday.
