***Reminder*** Spanish Speaking parents, don't forget to register for the next Parent Project class for Spanish language parents!!!

The Fairfield Police Department, in partnership with the Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District, will host a Spanish language Parent Project class for parents or caretakers of strong-willed teenagers ages 13-17 starting Wednesday, September 6, 2017, from 6:00-9:00 p.m. at the Sullivan Interagency Youth Services Center, 2195 Union Ave, Fairfield. 

To register for this Spanish Parent Project class, please contact Officer Pedro Arroyo at (707) 580-4641, or by email at There is a one-time fee of $25 for the parent workbook, which can be paid the first night of class.
(Using this option, the fee may be paid the night of the first class.)

Parents may also register by going to the Fairfield Community Center, 1000 Kentucky St, using barcode #46013. (If using this option, the fee must be paid at the time of registration.)

The Spanish Parent Project Sr. class will a three-hour class held each Wednesday evening for nine weeks. Parent Project teaches parents a step-by-step action plan and effective intervention techniques that help parents take immediate steps to influence their child's negative choices. Parents will gain tools and support to understand and communicate more effectively with their child, provide structure and active supervision, identify and intervene with drug/alcohol use, and improve school attendance. Parents will also learn indicators of gang activity and other destructive behavior. 

Parent Project Sr. instructors are members of the Fairfield Police Department and the Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District.

The Fairfield Police Department offers several Parent Project classes, both in English and Spanish, as well as a special Parent Project Jr. class for parents of children ages 5-12, throughout the year.
