...Very Hot Weather Through Sunday... .Strong high pressure maintains widespread triple digit highs and the risk of heat-related illnesses through Sunday. Temperatures peak today with slightly less hot weather on Sunday. Temperatures are expected to drop to near normal levels on Wednesday. ...EXCESSIVE HEAT WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM PDT SUNDAY...

* TEMPERATURE...Daytime highs will range from 104 to 114 across the Central Valley with overnight lows in the upper 60s to lower 80s in the Valley and foothill thermal belts. The hottest temperatures are expected today with only a few degrees cooling on Sunday.

* IMPACTS...HIGH risk of heat related illness for entire population. Keep a close eye on: elderly, children, sick people, pets and livestock.
