Atlas Fire Update for City of Fairfield Residents 10/11/17 8:00 p.m.
The following is a summary of today’s information, as there has been no change in status within the Fairfield City Limits.
There is a voluntary evacuation order for the Eastridge Neighborhood.  All other residents on the west side of Interstate 80 are advised to be prepared to evacuate.
There are two evacuation shelters open in Fairfield at the Allan Witt Park Sports Complex and Fairfield High School.  Both have plenty of space available.
Fairfield Suisun Unified School District has buses at B. Gale Wilson School on Cherry Hills Court to transport people to Fairfield High, if needed.
An information line has been established to assist residents and answer questions.  707-428-7320

This will be the final update for today unless critical information develops.  The city Emergency Operations Center is fully staffed and Police Officers and Firefighters are on duty, in the field, monitoring the fire and ready to respond to any emergencies that develop during the night.
